I was approached by Turn 10 Studios to continue the development of Forza Motorsport series to work on over 200 cars.
Turn 10 Studios is a company based in Seattle, Washington owned by Microsoft that designs AAA racing games videogames.
My role in this project at Turn 10 Studios, is dedicated to designing, crafting, and texturing vehicles for Forza Motorsport and Forza Horizon 5. Leveraging source control tools like Perforce and Autodesk Shotgun, tasks are efficiently managed to ensure seamless collaboration. The focus is on enhancing in-game performance by producing, refining, and optimizing existing assets' Levels of Detail (LODs). This involves the intricate process of high and low poly hard surface modeling, as well as UV mapping for vehicles with multiple LODs. Using Photoshop to create high-quality textures and symbols that elevate the visual appeal of the assets. With a good eye for detail, I work on creating and assessing designs to align with vehicle specifications. Each step is carefully looked in a thorough review of the final production art pass before it goes live to ensure a top-notch gaming experience.
Forza Motorsport won the best sports, racing, and accessibility game of the year in 2023.
